Iran Reportedly Speeding Up Work on Nuclear Program

U.S. Officials say a report by the International Atomic Energy Agency will reveal Iran has sped up work on its nuclear program.

The New York Times reports that “Iran has installed hundreds of new centrifuges in recent months and may also be speeding up production of nuclear fuel — focused on enriching uranium to a level of 20 percent.” That’s the level U.S. experts say is needed to produce a “workable nuclear bomb.”
