(multimedia) A hotel in the UK is doing a little religious renovation. WSYX has the details.
“The Hotel Indigo has taken traditional Bibles out of the nightstands and replaced them with Amazon Kindles with the Bible pre-loaded.”
The Telegraph reports the InterContinental Hotels Group chose this property for its literary and publishing history.
The hotel’s manager told the Telegraph …
“We wanted to reflect this literary history in a very contemporary way, so [we] are offering guests the use of cutting-edge Kindles pre-loaded with The Bible, instead of the more traditional hardcopy Gideon’s Bible that they would expect to find in a hotel.”
