(multimedia) Boy Scouts of America confirmed plans Wednesday to review a policy change allowing openly gay scouts and leaders to serve in the organization. HLN reports:
“At the Boy Scouts national meeting last week, an Eagle Scout who was raised by lesbian mothers presented a petition with more than 275,000 names asking that a lesbian that was ousted as a scout den mother be reinstated.”
Zach Wahls started that petition.
He gained recognition when he spoke at the Iowa House of Representatives about being raised by two mothers.
