(multimedia) A swarm of liberal lunatics this week descended on a kindergarten sing-along of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” to heckle and curse at students who had the audacity to profess their love for our country, Fox News reports.
As the five-year-olds waved small American flags and sang out loud, adult protesters attempted to shout them down with obscenities, with one scumbag actually telling them they would “burn in hell” for their patriotism.
“You Republicans … go to a Republican area and do that, we don’t do that here,” one protestor shouted at the kids. “This is ridiculous, this is sad. This is crazy. This is sad.”
A video of the event allegedly shows a tattooed protestor cursing at the students, and a staffer for U.S. Rep. Bob Turner attempting to convince the protestors to “let the kids sing,” Fox News reports.
“The kid’s don’t know what they’re singing,” one of the hecklers replied. “They got something you tell them to say. It’s ridiculous. It’s sad, sad, sad. You all are going to burn in hell. You all burn in hell. Shame on you. Shame on you.”
The children at the event did their best to drown out the protestors with chants of “USA, USA,” Fox News reports.
The melee was the product of a recent decision by PS 90 school Principal Greta Hawkens to ban the kindergarteners from singing “God Bless the USA” at their graduation ceremony over concerns the song might offend some people.
